Uniting the world through the music of Beethoven

Between 2024 and 2027, the Beethoven orchestra Le Concert Olympique, under direction of Jan Caeyers, will revive 27 key works by Beethoven in 27 EU cities, connecting at least 27,000 visitors in prestigious concert halls all over Europe.

But, Beethoven27 also wants to step outside Europe’s borders to spread a universal message of peace throughout the world. In addition to the European tour, Beethoven27 wants to engage one host city in America, Asia or the Middle East to host a ten-day International Beethoven Festival X (name of country or city) in 2025, 2026 and 2027.

Musically, we take a journey through Beethoven's work and life, playing the early Beethoven works in 2025, his mature music in 2026 and his late compositions from his deaf period, including the iconic Ninth Symphony and the Missa Solemnis, in 2027.
